Our German beach volleyball duo Huster and Pfretzschner could celebrate some great successes recently. Highlights include participation in the 2022 European Championships and several top placings on the World Tour. The team describes itself as focused, strong-willed, and dynamic.

For a well-functioning team, according to the guys, the most important thing is to have the right people around the team, consisting of a coach, physiotherapist, and psychologist, who all pull together. It is also important to pursue goals together and to trust each other. Of course, the necessary willingness to perform must not be missing either.

When asked what makes the sport so special, the beach volleyball duo replies, "What's special about our sport is above all the lifestyle and the setting. We play tournaments at the most beautiful places in the world. Although it's a team sport, everyone is on their own on the court.
For the future development of beach volleyball, the guys would like to see more media exposure and financial support. The team's biggest dream is a medal at the Olympics.
