At the age of 11, Viktoria let her dad talk her into kayaking. Through a lot of work, ambition and self-discipline, she finally turned her hobby into a profession. The professional kayaker has meanwhile managed to participate in 4 Olympic Games and has won numerous World Cup medals and national championship titles. Her career highlights include the world championship title and a world record title.
Viktoria's passion for canoeing has developed through her love of outdoor sports and her intimate connection with nature. "There is nothing more beautiful than paddling on a mirror-smooth water, surrounded by trees, birdsong and a beautiful view, completely switching off and being in harmony with nature," enthuses the Upper Austrian.

What she particularly appreciates about her sport is the combination of water, nature, intensity, technique and competition. For the future development of kayaking, Viktoria would like to see more focus on young talent in order to motivate more young children for this discipline.
After the numerous Olympic participations, Viktoria's biggest dream would be to come home from the Olympic Games with a medal in her luggage.
