Their greatest achievements to date include second place at the World Tour Future in Helsinki, successful qualification for the European Championships, and overall victory at the Austrian Beach Tour 2024. For Laurenc and Mathias, beach volleyball is more than just a sport – it’s a way of life. The combination of speed, skill, and teamwork on such a small playing area fascinates them every single day. Looking ahead, the two athletes wish for greater media visibility – on social media as well as on traditional TV and print platforms. They believe that marketing needs to become simpler and more appealing in order to truly showcase the full potential of this sport.
Their biggest dream is to compete at the World Championships 2025 and to secure a spot at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
