The La Sportiva Mountain Attack Team is a team of ski mountaineers and runners with members from Salzburg, Upper Austria, and Bavaria. Since its founding in 2014 in Hallein (Salzburg), the team has successfully competed in national and international races, earning numerous podium finishes as well as regional and national championship titles. The team has achieved particularly many victories in the team rankings at major events like the Mountain Attack and the Sella Ronda.

The secret to the La Sportiva Mountain Attack Team’s success lies in their shared passion for the sport, the necessary ambition for competitions and tough training sessions, and a healthy dose of fun and humor. This strong team spirit is essential for mastering the demanding challenges the mountains present.

What makes their sport so special for the athletes is the freedom to move individually through nature and the mountains, pushing their limits day by day. Looking ahead, the team hopes for a return to the original spirit of ski touring: more classic ski mountaineering races in Austria with many participants, away from the modern sprint and team sprint formats.

The biggest dream of the La Sportiva Mountain Attack Team is to continue growing, to inspire more young athletes, and to celebrate many more successes and team activities together.
