Our evil eye athlete Alissa König comes from Switzerland and is a professional triathlete. Since childhood, Alissa has loved running and on the advice of her coach at the time, she started triathlon at an early age and integrated swimming and cycling into her daily training. Alissa completed her first triathlon at the age of 14. When she crossed the finish line, she told her parents: "This is my sport, this is what I want to do!
Alissa's heart beats for triathlon and sometimes for chocolate chip biscuits, as she tells us in the interview. She likes to spend what little free time she has with her family and friends or baking biscuits.
The special thing about her sport, according to Alissa, is the combination and speed of the three sports in triathlon. "The adrenaline that gets up inside me when I get out of the water as fast as I can and get on the bike can't be compared to anything." For the future development of her sport, she would like to see a little more attention paid to the sprint and the Olympic distance. "Who says Ironman is harder just because the distances are longer?" says Alissa with a smile on her face.
Alissa's biggest sporting dream is to be at the front of the pack at the next Olympic Games with a pair of evil eye on her head.
