Our belgian athlete Jay Bytebier was born with a love for cycling. His father, an amateur cyclist, inspired him from an early age to take up the sport. At the age of 8, Jay received his first mountain bike, and it was then that he discovered his true passion. Unlike his father, who was a road racer, Jay was drawn to the excitement and thrill of mountain biking.
Jay's love for mountain biking only grew stronger with time. Even as a child, he spent most of his time outdoors, exploring new trails and jumps. He was always on his bike, whether he was riding around his backyard or exploring the mountain bike routes in his neighborhood. It wasn't long before Jay started competing in mountain bike races, and he quickly proved to be a natural.
Today, Jay is an accomplished mountain biker in the discipline of cross-country eliminator. This is a mountain bike racing format in which four riders compete against each other on a very short course in the middle of a city, a forest or on a self-made course.
Jay is known for his speed, agility, and endurance. He has won numerous races and competitions, and his name is respected in the mountain biking community. For Jay, mountain biking is more than just a sport; it's a way of life. He continues to ride, explore new trails, and push his limits every day.
Jay would like to see the discipline of cross-country eliminator, progress by attracting more young people to the discipline and encouraging them to challenge the top performers in the sport.
