  • How can i make a payment in the evil eye online shop?

    We currently offer the following payment options:

    Credit card
    When you pay by credit card, you will be asked to enter your credit card details during the checkout process. Your details will be transferred to us securely using SSL encryption. The payment transaction is automatically carried out by the credit card company. Your credit card will be charged immediately and we will process your order.

    PayPal
    If you choose this payment option, you will be redirected to PayPal during the checkout process. If you are an existing PayPal customer, please sign in using your login details and complete the payment process. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can sign up as a guest or create a new account. PayPal offers Buyer Protection, so you can place your order with complete peace of mind. If anything goes wrong with your order, you will receive a full refund from PayPal.
    As soon as you place your order, the payment will be deducted from the bank account linked to your PayPal account. This is beneficial as the order is processed more quickly and will often be shipped on the same day (if the items are in stock).

    Apple Pay
    If you choose to pay using apple pay please note that you will need to set up this function on your apple device prior to initiating the purchase process. Please follow the easy-to-follow directions you receive on your apple device once having chosen the apple pay function. You can choose to link your apple pay function to any of your bank accounts via debit or credit card. Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode are required for purchases on your iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, or iPad. Your bank card number and identity are not shared with retailers. As soon as you place your order, the payment will be deducted from the bank account linked to your apple pay account. This is beneficial as the order is processed more quickly and will often be shipped on the same day (if the items are in stock).

  • What can I do if I am unable to complete the payment process?

    In case of any difficulties completing a payment using the payment method of your choice, please check that you have entered all your payment details and filled out all the fields correctly.

    If your credit card payment is declined, please check:

    • that your credit card has not expired
    • that the name printed on your card matches the name on your billing address
    • your credit limit
    • that you have entered the correct card security code (CSC)
  • Will I receive an invoice for my order?

    Your invoice will be enclosed in the parcel with your order. If your billing address differs to your delivery address, your invoice will be posted to your billing address.

  • How long does it take for my order to be shipped?

    Most products are in stock and will be shipped immediately. You will receive them within 2 - 3 working days.

    If your product is not in stock, we will do our best to send it to you as soon as possible. If that is the case, we will inform you in a separate email.

  • How can I check the delivery status of my order?

    If you have created a customer account, you can log in to check your order’s delivery status. As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a delivery confirmation and tracking code.

  • Which countries do you ship to and what are the shipping costs?

    Shipping is generally free of charge, regardless of the order value. Free return shipping is not available in all countries. Please see our General Terms and Conditions for more information.

  • What if i do not receive my order?

    If your order is not received, please contact Customer Service for tracking and delivery information.

    Any lost or missing orders must be reported within 30 days of invoice (shipped) date.

  • Returns and refunds

    Except for any products designated on the site as non-returnable, we will accept a return of the products for a refund of your purchase price, provided such return is made within thirty (30) days of delivery to you (or a third party indicated by you) and provided such products are returned in their original condition.
    To return the goods you must contact our customer service prior to the end of the return period (Silhouette Optical Limited, 260 Cannon Street, Green Island, NY 12183, service.us@evileye.com for return authorization. We will verify the transaction and the time of order and ask you for your reason of return; for agreed upon returns we will send you a return label per e-mail.
    If you make an authorized return, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you not later than fourteen (14) business days from the day on which we have received the returned products. We will reimburse you using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
    You must return the goods to Silhouette Optical Limited, 260 Cannon Street, Green Island, NY 12183, not later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which our customer service authorized the return. We will pay the shipping cost for authorized returns.

  • Right to cancel

    You still have the right to cancel an order you have placed within the period stated in the T&Cs without stating a reason. This period begins as soon as you or a third party named by you (other than the carrier) has taken possession of the last item of the order.
    To cancel an order, please fill out and submit the order cancellation form.
    To exercise your right to cancel, you must advise us in writing before the end of the cancellation period.

  • Do I have to create an account to place an order in the evil eye online shop?

    You do not need an account to place an order in the evil eye online shop. You can also place an order as a guest.
    If you choose to create an account, you can check the status of your current and past orders any time and update your billing and delivery address. Plus, if you use our Virtual Try-On Tool, you can save your Virtual Try-On images for up to one year.

    Registered users can also use the same account to shop on other Silhouette online shops. That means you never have to create a separate account if you wish to buy from other Silhouette online shops.

  • How do i create an account?

    In the upper right side of the page, click ‘Login’. You will then be transferred to a page where you can either log in (if you have already created an account) or create a new account, so you do not have to re-enter your details the next time you want to place an order. You can also log into your account during checkout.

  • I cannot log into my account. What should I do?

    Please check to make sure you entered the correct login details. If you’ve forgotten your password, click ‘Forgot your password?’ and enter your email-address. We will email you a link to reset your password.

    Our high-performance sports eyewear is designed, developed and precision-crafted in Linz, Austria. This enables us to ensure the strictest standards of quality.

  • How should i clean my sports eyewear?

    To ensure perfect vision and functionality, clean the lenses regularly with clean water and a soft cloth. We recommend using the cleaning cloth that comes with your eyewear, or a similar micro-fiber eyewear cleaning cloth. You can also use a mild soap, liquid soap or standard commercial eyewear cleaners. Never rub the lenses dry, but lightly dab them with a soft cloth or leave them to air dry instead.

  • What are the technical specifications of evil eye sports eyewear?

    evil eye sports eyewear offers anti-glare protection and 100% protection against UV rays (UVA/UVB/UVC, up to UV 400). They also protect your eyes from snow, rain and wind. All evil eye sport lenses are made from durable polycarbonate, making them extremely break-resistant.

    They do not provide suitable protection against heavy impacts, hard objects, looking directly into the sun, lamps with high radiant energy or sunbeds.

  • What are the advantages of evil eye eyewear lenses?

    Polarized
    The POL filter gives you extra protection against bright sunlight and strong reflections. Our polarized lenses ensure relaxed vision, preventing rapid eye fatigue.

    Please remember that wearing polarized eyewear may limit your ability to see images on liquid crystal displays such as smartphones, laptops and dashboard displays, etc.

    LST®
    LST®lenses enhance contrasts, equalise rapid light-shadow changes and ensure clear vision. LST® reduces light intensity to a comfortable level and helps you perceive different colours more clearly.

    LST® VARiO
    This combination of lens tints offers all the benefits of LST® and VARiO in one package: enhanced brightness and contrast, equalised vision during rapid alternations between light and shadow and a photochromic lens that adjusts automatically to changing conditions.

    VARiO
    The photochromic VARiO lenses adjust seamlessly and automatically to changing light conditions.

  • Can I order any model with VARiO lenses?

    We only offer predefined color and lens variants per model. Please check on evileye.com whether the model of your choice is fitted with a VARiO lens or offers a VARiO lens as a spare part.

  • What size of frame would you recommend for a small head?

    evil eye eyewear prides itself in the fact the performance range models come in different sizes. We recommend you best try the eyewear on in the shop as our models also come with angle adjusting hinges and nose pads making the eyewear customisable to your personal needs.

    We additionally recommend using our Virtual Try-On feature on the website in order to first virtually try on the eyewear and the various sizes available in that model.

  • What prescription glazing solutions does evil eye offer?

    All evil eye sport eyewear can be fitted with prescription lenses. We offer 3 solutions: Direct glazing; adapter glazing and the Clip-in solution. Please go to https://www.evileye.com/en/prescription to learn more.

  • What do you recommend as the best glazing option for progressive vision for my evil eye sport frames?

    We recommend that you discuss this with your nearest evil eye optical retailer as your prescription will determine which is the best option for you.

  • Can I have any evil eye lens tint with my prescription?

    All evil eye lenses can be produced to incorporate your prescription. Lens colour remains original to the specific lens.

  • I have high prescription values but would still like to have a 10 base curvature sport frame, is this possible to glaze?

    As each individual has varying and very specific prescription values, we recommend you discuss this with your nearest evil eye optical retailer who can advise on what solution is best for you.

  • What are the Terms and Conditions?

    Participation in the prize draw is open to all individuals who are 18 years of age and above.

    Participation is only possible through completing the online form.

    Participation is free and does not require any purchase obligation.

    Only one entry per person is allowed.

    The terms and conditions are binding and must be adhered to by all participants.

    The Silhouette Group reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these terms and conditions.

  • How does the Virtual Try-On tool work?

    You've seen some sports glasses you like. Now you can try them on virtually on our website. It's a great way to get to know our extensive product range and to find out which of our various models suit you the best.

    To do a Virtual Try-On, take a video of your face using the camera on your device (desktop PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone). Make sure that you follow the instructions on how to move your face. You'll also be asked to hold a standard-sized credit card in front of your face (this is an optional step that you can skip) — please use the reverse side of the card so the camera doesn't capture your personal information. Putting the credit card in the frame ensures that the eyewear are displayed in the right size. Now you're all set to try on models from our wide range of sport glasses that are available to try with our Virtual Try-On tool.

  • How can I access the camera?

    The Virtual Try-On tool will ask your permission to use your camera. Once you have granted permission, the tool will use the camera on your device.

  • Where can I find the Virtual Try-On tool on evileye.com?

    You can find the Virtual Try-On tool on the evil eye website . In addition, all products that can be tried on virtually can be identified by an icon. You can also access the tool via the product page of any item with Virtual Try-On capability.

  • Can Virtual Try-On footage be downloaded as an image?

    Yes, the Virtual Try-On tool allows you to download the video footage as an image.

  • Can Virtual Try-On footage be saved?

    You can view the video recording in your user account for 1 year after it has been taken. However, this depends on the availability of your user account (which varies depending on your country) or whether you have accepted browser session cookies with a duration of 90 days. This happens automatically as soon as you re-start the Virtual Try-On process. The process works with session cookies provided that the cookies stored via your browser have not been deleted in the meantime. You can delete the video at any time. Our software provider ditto Technologies Inc. stores data on their servers for 2 years. You can ask our software provider to delete your data at any time by revoking your consent.

  • Why do I need a credit card for the video?

    The credit card is used to help scale the eyewear so that they are displayed on the face in the right size.

  • How can the video quality be improved?

    Please ensure that you take the video in a bright, well-lit place. You will also achieve better results in the video if your hair is pulled back and your ears are visible. Look directly into the camera on your device and follow the instructions guiding you through the Virtual Try-On process.

  • How realistic are the glasses in the Virtual Try-On?

    The sport glasses and colours are displayed in a realistic way. There may be minor differences due to the way different screens are set up.

  • Can you see at a glance which products can be tried on virtually?

    There is an icon that shows which products have a Virtual Try-On option.
